Flemington Moose Lodge 1829

Jack Francis Moody is 11 months old.

At 4 months old, Jim and Sharon's son Jack Francis was diagnosed with Neuofibromatosis (NFI) which is a genetic disorder of the nervous system that primarily affects the developement and growth of nerve cell tissues. A month later Jack was diagnosed with another form of cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a fast -growing, highly malignant soft-tissue tumor that effects stretch muscle cells. In September 2007 Jack underwent surgery to remove a tumor and 1/3 of his bladder. Since Jack is too young to receive radiation, he is undergoing 42 weeks of chemotherapy. His next evaluation is scheduled in July of this year.

   The Flemington Moose Lodge is sponsoring a Poker Run on June 8, 2008 to help with Jack's fight against cancer. His family has been unable to keep up with the overwhelming costs for Jack's treatment and the daily medications needed to combat his diseases. The Moody family is too proud to ask for the additional help they need.

  This is just the begining for young Jack as his conditions will require continued help and support.

  Please support us in trying to make Jack and his family's life together more manageable..

Poker Run leaving from the Moose Lodge at 81 Barley Sheaf Rd. in Flemington, NJ

Sign up will be from 9AM to 11AM with the first bikes out at 11:15...Coffee and Pastries will be served

The ride will be thru  rural western NJ and into Pa. along the scenic Delaware River, ending back at the Moose with an outdoor barbeque, 2 live bands...Catch A Wave and The Boonscuttle 5..., door prizes, raffles, and a special apperance by BIKERBOBBY who will be cooking on his Harley Grill.            (YES, it's a bike!!)

Prices for the event are

 *Bike and driver $25.00 which includes a free T-Shirt

 *Passengers  $10.00

*Non-Riding Guests...Walk in day of event $15.00
